In my younger years, I didn’t take much notice of the changing seasons. In recent years, however, I have begun to take more notice of the changing seasons, what they mean and what I like or dislike about different times of year. Winter fosters my favoured feelings of hot chocolate, a good book and warm doonas, Summer sports outdoor appeals such as picnic cricket or lazing by the pool and Autumn shares its delight through fabulous rustic hues.

Spring, on the other hand, is in a league of its own for me. Nothing can beat the warm breezes, sweet smells and blossoming buds of Springtime. It is a time of renewal and beauty and there is a charming freshness everywhere. It is the gorgeous time of year that can inspire so many areas of our creativity, and we decided to embrace that inspiration in this issue.
